Rokit America Launches Eye Supplement ‘EYE CARE’ with Patented Ingredients for Optimal Composition

Rokit America, a subsidiary of the bio-healthcare company Rokit Healthcare (CEO You Seok-hwan) and an American anti-aging R&D firm, announced on the 26th the launch of ‘EYE CARE,’ an eye supplement designed to prevent eye aging.

According to the National Eye Institute (NEI) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), our eyes function like multifocal cameras at birth, but by the age of 40, the range of vision decreases. With the recent increase in smartphone and electronic device usage, eye fatigue is accelerating, and issues such as increased intraocular pressure are emerging, highlighting the importance of eye health. In a survey conducted by the Korea Health Functional Food Association in 2020 involving 3,000 men and women, eye health was ranked as the top health concern.

Rokit America also conducted a survey on eye health last year titled ‘Be the Hero of Health Food Development! 3rd Edition.’ A company representative stated, “Based on the survey results, we developed EYE CARE by optimally combining ingredients tailored to consumer needs, with the help of doctors, pharmacists, and researchers. The product is designed with an optimal ingredient composition, incorporating patented substances related to eye nutrition based on research and published papers.”

EYE CARE combines bilberry extract and pycnogenol to enhance retinal blood flow and alleviate intraocular pressure synergistically. The combination of pycnogenol and lutein offers antioxidant benefits. Lastly, lutein and zeaxanthin are optimally combined to enhance macular protection. Additionally, vitamins A, C, and zinc are included as supplementary ingredients to help with not only vision but also dry eyes. The product should be taken once daily, with two capsules and water.
