Rokit Genomics Hosts Seminar on Single-Cell Sequencing Analysis

Rokit Healthcare’s subsidiary, Rokit Genomics (co-CEOs Tae-Woo Kwon and Yoon-Ki Gil), a specialist in single-cell analysis, announced on the 11th that it will host a seminar on “Single-Cell Sequencing (scRNA-seq; Single Cell RNA Sequencing) Analysis” for researchers on the 27th at the Samkyung Education Center near Seoul Station.

The seminar is designed to help participants learn how to process, analyze, and integrate single-cell data using R programming language and related packages. The event will cover a broad range of topics, including:

  • An overview of single-cell analysis
  • Practical sessions on preprocessing, normalization, and integration of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data
  • Clustering techniques
  • Identifying marker genes through Differential Expression Gene (DEG) analysis

Single-cell RNA sequencing has rapidly advanced in various fields, such as biology, drug development, and clinical research, garnering significant attention. A company representative noted, “This technology helps uncover information that traditional methods might miss, differentiating cancer cells from immune cells, thus aiding in drug development and research. By leveraging these advantages, we aim to lower the barriers to entry in single-cell analysis, increasing accessibility for researchers.”

Founded in 2019, Rokit Genomics provides innovative services to researchers based on single-cell transcriptome and gene analysis technology. The company supports research activity in precision medicine and bioinformatics, and recently strengthened its efforts in precision genomic data production and utilization through a partnership with Macrogen. Rokit Genomics continues to lead innovation in single-cell analysis, providing researchers with new knowledge and tools.

Interested participants can register for the seminar through the pre-registration link available on the Rokit Genomics website.
