Rokit Healthcare’s ‘AI Personalized Skin Regeneration Platform’ Wins Grand Prize at GSMA M360 APAC

Rokit Healthcare, a leading company in organ regeneration (CEO Seok-Hwan You), announced on the 2nd that its “AI Personalized Skin Regeneration Platform” was awarded the Top Innovator prize at the GSMA Mobile 360 Asia Pacific (M360 APAC) conference, gaining international recognition for its technological innovation. The company participated in the technology showcase session, which focused on AI, machine learning, smart cities, biotechnology, ESG, and sustainability.

M360 APAC is an annual event organized by the GSMA since 2013, aiming to integrate the regional mobile ecosystem and promote innovation that drives business-friendly environments and societal change. This year’s M360 event featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and in-depth case studies on mobile technology and related industries, with participation from 16 companies across six countries.

At the event, Rokit Healthcare drew attention for its highly personalized organ regeneration platform, which combines 3D bioprinting and AI. A company representative explained, “This technology involves harvesting autologous tissue, automatically recognizing the affected area using AI imaging solutions, and printing ECM patches via 3D bioprinting to regenerate and heal chronic, difficult-to-treat wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers. The integration of AI and 3D bioprinting technology enables the commercialization of an organ regeneration platform that can also regenerate cartilage, kidneys, and more.” The representative added, “This technology provides a remote medical solution of consistent quality, applicable in medical settings worldwide.”

CEO Seok-Hwan You stated, “Following our recent recognition by the BBC for future technologies, this award further validates the value and technological prowess of our organ regeneration platform. Rokit Healthcare will continue to lead both the domestic and global markets with our advanced organ regeneration technology and bio 3D printing capabilities.”

Additionally, Rokit Healthcare’s organ regeneration platform, showcased at GITEX 2023, was honored by the BBC as a future technology. In August, the Ministry of Health and Welfare designated the company’s “3D Printing-Based Autologous Fat Tissue Chronic Diabetic Foot or Wound Treatment Technology” as an innovative medical technology. Rokit Healthcare’s skin regeneration technology has received usage approval in approximately 60 countries and is currently being commercialized in about 30 countries.
