This supply was carried out under the Italian National Health Service (SSN, Servizio Sanitario Nazionale) system and is expected to serve as a key reference for expanding into the European public insurance market in the future.

Italy is a country with a high burden of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) within Europe. The prevalence of adult diabetes in Italy is approximately 10%, with about 4.47 million patients, and the lifetime incidence rate reaches up to 34%. Furthermore, the annual demand for diabetic foot regeneration is continuously increasing due to population aging and rising rates of comorbid vascular diseases.

Meanwhile, the Italian medical community has pointed out the risks of amputation and the structural limitations of conventional dressing-centered treatments. Industry experts believe that this entry into Milan's public hospitals goes beyond mere supply and will serve as a practical testbed for expansion across Europe based on CE MDR certification.
